One of the most popular destinations in California if not all of the United States is Wine Country California. Thanks for leaving a message on my blog.
If I had to guess, I would call the basket in Stephen Knollengberg's hallway a 'rush log basket'. I found what looks to be very similar on a website called labellemaisonannarbor.com If you go to the home and garden section they have a 'coco medium rectangular rush planter' which likes strikingly similar to the one in the picture. And this company sells on-line!

Good thing to consider when you want to learn and travel.
The lodgings for me must be characterized to include this kind of service, but then others added as package tours.
California is a city with beauty and history of wine is always very special.
